In 1957 he was awarded a Malayan Government scholarship at the Brighton College of Art & Crafts, England and after 10  years in 1968, he received a Fulbright grant to pursue MA in art education in Indiana University, USA. Then he taught at Specialist Teachers’ Training Institute at Cheras, Kuala Lumpur for more than 10 years. Each work is a 3-dimensional entity, mounted on a pedestal.
