This artwork is a display of how I feel about everyone around me, wether its a close friend or even a complete stranger. The word Sonder is important to me so I wanted to incorporate it in my art. The word Sonder means everyones lives are complex just like me. I like to think of that every time I see a stranger. I think of this because you never know whats going on in someone elses life so I do not have the right to judge anyone. If you look closely there are photos of strangers in the second layer of paper all those people have a life we know nothing about. The book paper represents all the different stories being told. On the inside is the word Sonder I used bright colors to show that Sonder can be artistic and beautiful in a way.

This project resembles me by the crazy background, and some of the stuff I like. It has most of my favorite things including songs, turquoise, and Diet Coke. It symbolizes my crazy and fun personality.

This piece of artwork symbolizes peace. To me I find peace in the water. The boat symbolizes fun, I always have a good time on the boat. I also love the mountains so I decided to add them into this piece. This picture/ painting brings me joy.

This piece of artwork symbolizes calmness. to me when something is bothering me or makes me upset I like to walk. Its also always nice to see how pretty it is too when you walk. I choose evergreen trees because to me there a really pretty tree.

I used the sentence, "When I am upset, I turn to my mom." This piece resembles me and how I lean to my mom when I am in a rough spot, and how she always protects me from the bad stuff. The sunflowers are used to resemble me and my mother, and the storm resembles the strong emotions or negative events. The larger sunflower is wilting to show that it is tired while the smaller sunflower is growing and is healthy.

For my artwork, I used the sentence "I am inspired by fictional characters." I went for more of a digital art approach for this piece because I find it more enjoyable and easier for me to convey what I am making compared to other forms. It is a WIP as of now since I joined a bit later than most. The finished project will be a digital recreation of a photo I took in-game of one of my favorite characters, Nero, from my favorite game, "Devil May Cry 5." This encapsulates my sentence because when I look at Nero, is see a person who never gave up when the chips were down and found the strength to continue against impossible odds.

This piece of artwork represents my fear of not knowing whats under me when i swim in lakes. I always worry about whats under my feet in a lake. Seeing photos of funky exotic fish from the debts of the ocean terrifies me, but not at the same time. I just have this irrational fear something is going to grab my feet, just watching horror movies it really influenced this fear. (the second photo are in the comments.)

My artwork started with the statement "I feel peace in nature." The work incorporates watercolor, acrylic, leaves, and bark. The work is inspired by Celtic art and uses a triangle composition. The work shows ways we are connected through, the air we share, the sun and water we need, and the ground we use stabilization for. More literally I made the tree and girl around the same height; the leaves and hair the same color; and the tree and the women being literally connected. The tree is a Red Maple and the lungs are a seed from the same family of tree.

This artwork represents my interest in psychology, mental health, and the media's effects on it. This piece represents eating disorders and how phrases found on social media and in magazines can worsen their effects. The skeleton represents how eating disorders slowly kill the person suffering from them. The collage includes many sayings found in magazines or online that promote weight loss. The skeleton and background were drawn in oil pastels to symbolize how messy the disorder can become.

This artwork symbolizes capturing the news in dark times. The girl is wearing a jacket made out of news articles. The light is used to really make the jacket stand out. The use of red draws the attention and is used as a bold statement. The elements all together showcase having to shine light on world topics and news to bring focus.
