It is in a great position</p><p>for trade due to its many coastlines for ports and have waterways</p><p>to transport it's goods in and out. Australia is right near many countries</p><p>that need their raw resources to create the goods that those countries&nbsp;</p><p>eventually ship to others. Australia is a major country in the world</p><p>that impacts those around it.</p>]]></description>

A functional region would be the area around the Sydney Opera house, the Opera house is the node and the area that I am referring to is anywhere within a 10 mile radius of the Opera house. A  vernacular region would be what the residents of Sydney would refer to as downtown, it is not specified but those who live near it have their own opinion of where is starts and ends</p>]]></description>
