The Battle of Britain, 1940

Munich Agreement

In 1938, Hitler met with Neville Chamberlain, Edouard Daladier, and Benito Mussolini in Munich. The agreement was that Hitler gained Sudetenland, and in return Hitler promised he would not occupy any more territory in Czechoslovakia. He broke that promise and seized Czechoslovakia.
