With a changing society new regulations must be put in place for the well-being of our nations security, starting with our schools. Our students are our future and we need to have security measures put in place to protect our posterity.

No, it does not violate anyones rights. Thomas Jefferson stated that we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  You can not pursue happiness if you are scared that someone is going to hurt you so, these security measures provide people security that is beneficial and provides a sense of comfort/safety.
