Nike's Culture has always had a culture of motivation and caring for what's best for all individuals around us. Nike has explored every aspect of the sports world since they started out as a running company, then expanding its culture into the basketball world once they signed basketball player Michael Jordan. Nike is also huge on the global end being one of the most globally expanded sportswear companies. Nike has included its stores and manufacturing factories across 40 countries worldwide.

Mission:

Nike has two mission statements consistently used and mentioned throughout their brand and company initiatives. Nike's main two Mission statements are, "To bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete* in the world." and "If you have a body, you are an athlete." As you can see these two mission statements reflect each other, we see the second mission statement a lot mixed in Nike products and stores.

Vision:

Nike's vision statement is “to remain the most authentic, connected, and distinctive brand.” Nike has been the most dominant footwear and apparel brand of the 21st century in all aspects. The only acceptable expectation is to remain at the top of the pyramid. As talked about in the culture aspect, with the diversity of areas of product that is provided through Nike makes the vision more efficient. By trying to push the vision in every type of product and to push for expansions in new areas.

What are your long-term expectations from the company as well as yourself?

My long-term expectation from both Nike and myself is trust so we can make a comfortable and efficient working environment. I also do expect certain benefits from the company which they do already apply to their current employees as it will be a full-time position.

How will your strength and soft skills apply to a company such as Nike?

As I already have extensive experience with Nike for about 2 years, I also have experience on the Business end as I will be finishing my associate's degree in Business as well will be eventually getting my bachelor's degree in Business.

Why would I want to work for Nike?

I would like to work for Nike in the future as it is my current employer at the retail level. I would like to take it to the next step and work at a corporate level, and hopefully one day work in Beaverton, Oregon at the Nike campus. Nike is the most dominant sportswear company globally as there is some other good competitors, Nike has been consistent and the top-named sportswear company since the 1980's. Ever since I was a kid Nike was the brand I wore the most and as it just grew on me as I got older I stuck with them.
