I realised there is an app that is very good for learning new languages. It is called Memrise. I looked for it on the appstore and downloaded it. I have found the app really helpful as all the basics are there, and the app can pronounce the word for you. I have practised pronunciation with the app and used it throughout the week.

https://www.memrise.com/

We have learnt the accusative and dative forms. I have revised the materials on the handouts. I am very clear now that some prepositions will have the accusative forms and some only the dative forms. There are the third type of prepositions that has two different forms when used as Static or Movement. The Akkusative form is used when in motion and the Dativ form is used when Static.

I have also looked on a video on Youtube for some examples of these:
Verbs with Accusative AND Dative - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gurtFfgWSzw

I started to do some revision on the past lessons. I realised there are alot of words that I do not understand. I also read comprehension very slow. So I looked for text passages on the textbook and practice reading. When I come across a word I do not know, I looked for it on the online dictionary. I also spent alot of time doing the practices that we missed in class in the textbook. This really helped me revise and understand everything that I have learnt in class. I also used the memrise app alot this week.
