There are 3 main types of feminism with different goals and ideas on how to achieve these goals. 
Liberal feminists seek equal rights with men under the current system, achieving this is done through campaigning to remove obstacles that separate women from men. 
Radical feminists believe women are held down by patriarchy (Coote and Campbell- social, economic and cultural systems that ensure male supremacy) to end this the system must be torn down and restarted.
