Hello, I am James A. Clemeña and is currently a 2nd year student of Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao. I like OPM Music such as Parokya ni Edgar, Rivermaya and other bands. I also like Foods such as Bulalo, Sisig, Kinilaw. As I am a person who has experience with martial arts, I take a lot of interest in Filipino martial arts such as arnis, kali and eskrima. And although I do not use them, I am interested in how some Filipinos converse with one another. As I converse with english and tagalog, I have a hard time understanding Filipino pop language.

This one Philippine Pop Culture has impacted television shows as a whole. It premiered on 2015 and ended on 2022 making it the longest-running Philippine TV drama ever. In an entertainment perspective, It is well-known for its gripping combat scenes, gunfights, and action scenes. It is an engrossing and exciting series because it blends aspects of action and criminal drama. In a societal perspective, In addition to bringing attention to crime, corruption, and other urgent issues, the show frequently discusses modern social and political issues in the Philippines. I decided to feature this in my Padlet as it resonated so well with the Filipino audience. This included my family.

As was previously mentioned, "Ang Probinsyano" affects public opinion by bringing up relevant social and political issues. One example of this would be the way the show has portrayed dishonest politicians and their immoral behavior. It promotes conversations and raises public understanding of the necessity of transparent governance and the significance of holding people in positions of authority responsible by drawing attention to these problems and illustrating their detrimental effects. This contributes to the potential for social change. It can lead to increased public demand for solutions to these problems, whether through policy changes, public discourse, or civic engagement.

The show can also change how the audience perceive crime in general. The show brings crime to the public's attention by recurrently showcasing stories pertaining to crime. The viewers are always exposed to law enforcement and the consequences of crime and. This helps the viewers realize the prevalent crime in society. Ultimately, this raises the awareness of crime issues among the Filipino citizens.
