This was arguably the worst trip that I have ever been on. I am going to tell you what happened. I live in Florida currently, and Tallahassee is a 7 1/2 hour drive. Due to the fact that we didn’t want to drive that long, we decided to go on American Airlines. But did we go on American Airlines? No. We got to the airport at 7:20 and our flight was supposed to leave at 8:51 AM. However, the ticket gate number was unclear. The flight lady told us that it was gate D6, but in reality it was D60. Due to this, we missed our flight and we were running down the airport 60 gates. It was a catastrophe. However, we thought things couldn’t get worse. We tried to get on the 5pm flight but it was all booked. So, we decided to rent a minivan. The minivan was disgusting. It was so unclean and it was terrible looking. 2 hours into the drive, we were in the peaceful dirty car, and we saw a huge spider. It was yellow, hairy, and it had claws. It was right next to Peyton’s head. I flicked the spider and now it is procreating in the car. Hours later, we go to register at NHD. All is well. However, then, we go to Walmart. It was a ghetto Walmart. There was nothing in there and we needed to buy props. It was a difficult moment. When we got to the hotel, it was a nice hotel, however the room was so condensed and there was no door to the bathroom, meaning that you were out in the open. The night went well, but the morning of May 2nd was a biggie. When we arrive to Tallahassee Community College, we reloaded that we forgot the tickets we need to compete, our props, and the hangers and clops that we need to hang our prop. Chloe’s mom was driving so fast back to the hotel and retrieved everything right on time. We performed and it went well. We had a nice lunch and then after lunch we found out that we did not move on to the final round. We also found out that we had a flat tire. I had a very fun experience but a lot of crazy things happened. We went to Disney and stayed at one of the Disney hotels. We went to Disney on a Thursday and got to Orlando at around 3 pm. On that same day, we went to Animal Kingdom, since it is not one of our favorite parks and we only wanted to go on a couple rides. We went on Mt. Everest and our ride stopped at the top! We were able to experience the ride, however it stopped while we were at the top because of a malfunction. We had to wait there for almost 1 hour! However, luckily, we were at the front of the ride so we were able to make it into the igloo part of the ride, but the people at the end were in the steaming heat. Next day, we decided to go to Universal Studios. Universal Studios is one of our favorite parks. We went on so many fun rides such as Rock’N’Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Slinky Dog, Millenium Falcon, and many more. However, my favorite ride was the Rise of the Resistance. But it was a crazy experience trying to get on that ride. So many people wanted to get on that ride, so it was very hard to get on the boarding pass. However, we were lucky enough to get one of the boarding passes, but we were also unlucky because we got one of the very last ones. This is bad because the ride has been already used many times and its very likely to have malfunctions, and if they do have malfunctions, they let you go on the ride later on, but since it is very late in the day, the rides close before you get a chance. As we were on the ride, the ride malfunctioned so we had to get off. But, we were very determined to go on. We waited for 1 hour and nothing happened. But, right as we were leaving the park, the ride opened up again. So we decided to run back. But as we arrived to the ride again, I realized that I dropped my ticket somewhere. This was a major problem. We ran all the way back to the entrance to get a new ticket from Disney services. Then, we ran all the way back and went on the ride. It was an amazing ride and it was definitely worth the wait! On our third day, we went to Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom was very fun and we went on many fun rides and nothing went wrong. Dad: I think that it is a very interesting thing and excited to see how it turns out.

Dad: That you can always get through things.
Jade: Have you noticed a change in me from the start of the pandemic to now?
Dad: Not really, your just as annoying.
