Although it is a little confusing being in full remote and all I still really do enjoy band and love playing the saxophone. I wish that we were all still in school for doing this because thats what makes band special but not much we can do about that.

What practice technique do you think will help you? Is there a practice technique that you use that we didn't talk about? Is there something you wish you had a better method of practicing for?

Personally practice techniques that help me are simple scales and especially the ones that I skip a note and go back down to. To be honest I don't wish for a better method because I love the one I am using right now and fine joy in it.

Personally I love the holidays and what they stand for. Even though its going to be different this year it will definitely leave a mark. I love playing christmas music on my Saxophone and adding a Jazzy feel to it. It just bring me so much joy and makes my mind feel at peace from the crazy year that has presented itself.

As we begin the 2nd semester of this school year, reflect on one music concept or idea that you feel you got stronger at or gained better understanding of. Briefly share how and why you feel stronger with this concept or idea. Then, come up with two goals that you wish to work towards during the 2nd semester. Discuss why these two goals are important to you and your musical growth. Feel free to write in paragraph form or build a list.

I feel as if I have gotten stronger in the classical arts with practicing some classical music along with surrounding myself with it by listening to Bach and Mozart as well as Tchaikovsky. Overall I also think it has helped me improve as a person and I really see it benefiting my life quite a bit.

What is the hardest part about this piece for you? Why is it the hardest for you?- What should we as a band work on more to get stronger at playing "Mt. Everest?" How would we go about addressing this?

I would say the middle part of the piece is where i find a little trouble in. Currently given our situation of not actually being able to meet in person there is nothing much we could improve on
