we saw young people interacting and communicating with older people and asking about their opinions on the world. not only that, each of them had several different opinions.

we think that the reason for the different opinions is due to the different experiences that the people have experiences and because of the economic state of the country at that the people experience during their growth.

I see a old woman who is living with herself at home. I see that she doesn't feel well when there isn't people at home and she wants to be independent.

The woman has high blood pressure and i think it is because it is caused by the loneliness. I think she will pass on soon

We are curious how the children died and why did she get married at 14. This makes us want to explore what age people can get married

I saw that the elderly were lonely and their family members died. They also have high blood pressure, especially mdm ong.Mdm Ong also had a history of depression. The doctors said that Mdm Ong also wanted to be independent by helping others. Like washing her friends clothes for them.

There was a elderly who was named steven and he had dementia at the age of 58 which was very early to have dementia at 58 years old. People with dementia is usually an introvert but at certain times he would show that he is and extrovert by telling jokes to people whom he knew or didn't know. His wife believes in him and she would always follow him wherever he goes to make sure nothing happens to him. His wife also wanted to go on more holidays with him before he got dementia and she thought that dementia wouldn't come so early in his life. I wonder how his wife works because she needs to take care of him everyday.

I can see from the video that some people are not returning their trays and letting the elderly workers keep the trays for them. I can also see that people spill a lot of food on the tables that the elderly workers have to clean.

I think that the elderly workers are tired of returning the trays and food items for the customers eating at hawker centres. I also think that the elderly workers should only be cleaning the tables for customers.

I think that senior citizens could be very kind sometimes maybe mean if we bother them too much but most of the time they try to put a smile on their faces when they talk to me.
successful ageing means like when u age u still keep up with the things that are happening now.
I can tell them like whats happening in Singapore now, I can talk to them daily to not make their life soo boring like how it already and I want to try to make them happy again.

We saw how uncle bill and kieryon interacted with each other. They have a lot of respect and care for each other. We also saw how kieryon gave uncle bill a cake in his birthday which displayed his kindess.

cure to loneliness

I see and notice that there are many old people in bedemeer. there are many old people like auntie goh and others taking care of each other like mr yeo fixing broken appliances, and another cooking for older ones who cannot walk

i think that the old people have no choice but to live alone so they find solutions to not be lonely and rely on each other.

I wonder what will happen if they stop taking care of each other, how would they be able to get help

UNEXPECTED MENTOR

In the video:

I saw- a girl who liked to sing but was shy, her parents were divorced and she was scared that her mother would die; I also saw an auntie who was a retired nurse who had no children. Mdm Yeo (the auntie) helped Quistina (the girl) overcome her fears and became her moral support.

I think -they are helping each other and they learn to get along well despite the generational gap. I think they will continue to keep in contact and will stay friends even after the experiment ends.

I wonder- how they get along despite having such a large age gap and why parents cannot get along with children even though they are related and the age gap isn't even that large.

I saw that the elderly man named Bill was paired up with kieyran and they each had the same interests and formed a really good friend ship.

I Think that their interests really helped them form their friendship and that Bill's comic shop also contributed a lot to it. I also think that Kieyran can interact more with Bill.

I wonder if they will still be in contact after the 10 weeks (if it has not ended)

i think - the uncle bill , slowly warms up to the boy , his perception slowly changes for the better.
