1. The most obvious way that Lil Yachty demonstrated rebellion was that he broke the stereotype that rappers have to do drugs and alcohol. Yachty stated that he never liked the way that substances made him feel.
2. A smaller, less obvious way Yachty showed rebellion in was that he was showing kids that are young that you dont have to do drugs even if the people you are around peer pressure you or ask you to do them. i think thats very powerful due to the drug and alcohol issue in the young.
3. I think he is a part of a bigger movement, the anti drug movement. He spreads a lot of awareness on peer pressure of drugs. He is someone a lot of teens look up to, so the fact that hes part of that movement is important.

1. Public Enemy was a Hip-Hop group that was radical both politically and sonically and they spoke their opinions through their songs. They protested authority mainly by singing about it, like fight the power. In the song fight the power they say that if you dont fight authority/government that there will never be true change.
2. Less obvious ways that Public Enemy rebelled was that they made beats like no other hip-hop group. They rebelled not only by singing about political issues but by changing their music to something completely new.
3. Public enemy wasn't involved in any specific movement but they did sing about African american injustice and other political issues a lot.

1. James brown was a rebel because he sang about things other people weren't willing sing about at that time. He song about civil rights, black pride, and to make the crowd enjoy the songs with very meaningful lyrics, he would dance.
2. James Brown rebelled in less obvious ways by changing his beats to be unique to him. By making unique rap beats it made his style unique and different than others.
3. James Brown was not part of a larger movement. But, James Brown did revolutionize the music industry by creating beats never heard before and now they are a basis for modern hip-hop music.
https://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/music/hinckley-james-brown-changed-music-world-article-1.2619132

He was arrested a couple times standing up to racism and even went to court for "disturbing the peace."
2)Jackie Robinson achieved so much in his career and showed everyone that he is equal and that all colored are equal.
3)Jackie Robinson was the first colored man in sports to stand up against racism and his words inspired many other people to stand up.

1. The most obvious way that Ruth Bader Ginsburg shows rebellion is that she is the first American to fight for equality under the law. She argued a lot of unequal rights in court.
2. Some smaller ways Ruth Bader Ginsburg showed rebellion is that in the movie On The Basis of sex she always thought of wanting to make a change and it took her years to actually work her way up to court and protest the female discrimination in America.
3. Ruth Bader Ginsburg is one of the largest reasons women are able to have certain jobs, be in the military, and many many more things. Without her brave actions women would still be treated unfairly, she's impacted women's rights a lot.
