Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb, Good morning, everyone.

My name is Rahma Puspita Ningrum. Today marks the end of our English Club sessions for this cycle. Honestly, it’s a bittersweet moment. On one hand, I feel so proud of what we’ve accomplished together. On the other hand, it’s hard to say goodbye—at least for now.

Let’s take a moment to reflect on our journey.

In our first meeting, we got to know each other. You all introduced yourselves with confidence, learned how to spell your names in English, and made new friends. It was a warm start and a great foundation for everything that followed.

In our second meeting, we talked about people’s appearances and described our idols. You spoke about the people who inspire you, not just their looks, but their personality and achievements too. I saw how your vocabulary grew and how your confidence improved.

In the third meeting, we went on virtual adventures—visiting exciting places through storytelling. Whether it was Bali, Lumajang, or Mexico City, you shared your favorite destinations with enthusiasm. You also practiced using past tenses and descriptive language beautifully.

Then in our last meeting, we learned how to order food at a restaurant. You practiced speaking politely, using real-life situations. It was not only fun but also very practical. I can see many of you are now more comfortable speaking in English without fear.

Before we close, I want to thank each of you for your spirit, your energy, and your willingness to learn. I also want to thank our amazing facilitators, Miss Kei and Miss Azka, for guiding us with passion and patience.

As we end this journey, remember: Learning English doesn’t stop here.* Keep practicing, keep reading, keep watching, keep speaking. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes—that’s how we grow.

You are capable of great things. Believe in yourself, and never stop trying.

Thank you for being a part of this experience. See you next time!

Wassalamualaikum Wr.Wb.

Conclusion

In essence, this semester has been an incredible journey, shaping me not only in practical academic skills like ordering food and asking about prices, but also in appreciating our dynamic learning environment. My musical tastes, from favorite acoustic pop to genres I enjoy less, have also been a part of my personal experience. Looking ahead, I'm genuinely excited to pursue my future plans and activities, both in my studies and personal growth. All these experiences will certainly be valuable assets for my next steps.

Today I want to tell you about what I have learned in my English class. We have learned many interesting things, and I really enjoyed the lessons.

First,we practiced introducing ourselves. I can say, “Hello, my name is Aisya. I’m from Indonesia. I’m 20 years old. I like music and traveling.” We also spelled our names to each other, like “My name is Aisya. A-I-S-Y-A.”

Next, we learned how to talk about places. I have been to Ndelundung Waterfall.over there is very beautiful and peaceful. There are nice beaches and friendly people. I visited Ndelundung Waterfall. It was very high and amazing. I took pictures and walked down the path. It felt like a small adventure!

From this topic, I learned how to use different tenses. I say “I visited Lumajang last year” for past tense. If I want to talk about something still happening, I use “was” or “were” with verb-ing, like “I was taking photos.” And for experiences in my life, I can say “I have visited Bali twice.”

Next, we learned about making conversations. I practiced asking and answering questions like “Where are you from?” or “What is your favorite place?” We used adverbs like “very,” “really,” and “quite” to make our speaking better. For example, “It’s a really fun city” or “It’s quite beautiful.”

We also talked about describing people. I learned how to say someone is tall, has black hair, or wears glasses. We talked about our idols, and my idol is pororo because he is so cute and small with yellow helmet. I also learned new words like freckles, dimples, and fair skin.

Then, we studied about shopping. We learned how to ask about prices. For example, “How much is this?” or “That’s expensive!” We also practiced giving opinions like “I prefer the blue one. It’s nicer,” or “I like this one better because it’s cheaper.” This is very helpful for shopping in English-speaking places.

We also practiced eating at a restaurant. I learned how to say, “Can I have the menu, please?” and “I’d like fried rice and iced tea.” After eating, we say, “Can I have the bill, please?” and “Thank you, the food was delicious!” I feel more confident to order food in English now.

After that, we talked about music. I like pop music. I learned how to say, “I like this song,” or “I don’t like rock music.” If my friend says, “I like ballads,” I can say, “So do I,” or “Me too.” If I don’t agree, I can say, “Really? I don’t.”

So, I learned many new things. This class has helped me speak English more confidently. I hope I can keep learning and speak better every day.

To close this speech, I want to say thank you to my teacher and all my friends. I really enjoyed this class—it was fun, helpful, and made me more confident in speaking English. I’m happy to learn with all of you.

If I made any mistakes during this speech, I’m really sorry. Thank you so much for listening to me.!

Assalamualaikum wr.wb.

Hello everyone,

Good morning

First, I would like to express my gratitude to Allah SWT. for giving us guidance throughout this journey.

I just want to say how grateful I am to be standing here today. It feels a little bittersweet — I’m truly happy that we’ve reached the end of this course, but also a little sad because it means our time together is coming to an end.

These past few meetings have been such a meaningful experience. We didn’t just learn English — we built confidence, friendships, and beautiful memories along the way.

• In our first meeting, we started with the basics — learning how to introduce ourselves and spell our names. It helped us feel more confident and connected with each other.

• In the second meeting, we practiced describing people’s physical appearances — like hair, height, and style — and how to ask questions like “What does she look like?” or “How old is he?”

• During the third meeting, we explored how to describe places. We talked about destinations like Bali and Lumajang, while practicing tenses like Simple Past, Past Continuous, and Present Perfect. It taught us how to tell stories in English.

• In the fourth meeting, we learned how to order things — how to ask for prices, how to order politely, and how to express preferences. It was useful and practical for everyday situations like shopping or going to a café.

• In the fifth meeting, we talked about music — from our favorite genres and singers, to the messages in songs and the reasons why we love them. It was a fun and emotional topic that helped us connect more personally.

• The sixth meeting was all about shopping in English. We practiced comparing items and reacting to prices — using phrases like “That’s too expensive!” or “I like this one better.”

• Finally, in the seventh meeting, we looked to the future. We talked about our future plans and goals, and also learned about good and bad excuses, which helped us learn to speak more honestly and naturally in conversations.

Each session taught us something new — new vocabulary, useful expressions, and most importantly, how to express ourselves with confidence.

To our amazing teachers, Miss Azka and Keisha — thank you so much for your guidance and everything you’ve taught us. You made learning enjoyable and meaningful, and we’re truly lucky to have had you as our teachers. I hope you always get best in your life.

To all my friends — thank you for being a part of this journey. Each of you made it special in your own way. And guys, thank you for all the fun moments we’ve shared. You’ve all added a unique color to this experience, and I’m truly grateful to have shared this journey with you.

Even though this course is ending, I believe it’s just the beginning for all of us. Let’s keep moving forward with everything we’ve learned — and hopefully, one day, our paths will cross again.

Before I close, I want to leave you with a reminder:

"You are always one decision away from a completely different life."

No matter where you are or what you’re going through, one brave step — one choice — can lead you to something completely new. So don’t be afraid to take that step when the time comes.

Wishing all of you the very best in whatever comes next.

Thank you so much
