Then Samuel was a sad child, who spent long and boring afternoons at home. The only moments of joy were those in which he took refuge in his fantastic world where he really lived but, it was so hot that even the watches melted.

-          What do you want? Samuel asked.

 

Samuel arrives in the fantastic world of his dreams. In this world where everything is possible, he can walk. ‘But how can I find the watch that never melts ?’

 

‘Oh dear, oh dear , I’m late, I’m late .’

A white rabbit arrives . He has got glasses, a brown bow-tie, and a red blazer. He has got an umbrella and also a white watch. And he is in a hurry. 

 

Samuel thinks ‘Oh Maybe this is the watch . Wait for me, little rabbit,   please !’

Samuel follows the rabbit , and he says : “Where are you going ? Let me see your watch!”

The rabbit stops and says: “ I am going to the sea . Why do you want my watch? Look it’s five o’clock, I am late, I am late. ”

Samuel looks at the watch and suddenly it starts to melt… He is so sad: 'this is not the watch I am looking for, where is it ? "

 

He is swimming towards the light. He is getting closer to the light. He feels the light on his face. He feels that the light is inside him, forever.

He feels good. He closes his eyes and smiles.
