1. Humanitarian crisis are increasing and becoming more destructive in the future. EU´s resources are limited and it´s impossible to give help for everyone who needs it.

+ Budget problems:
In 2015 EU´s humanitarian aid and rescue service´s budget was 1,5 billion euros which was record-breaking sum. Nevertheless budget continues to growth year by year.

2. Predicting future
It´s also hard to predict future, so EU can´t prepare itself. Nobody knows what kind of crises future holds

3. Collaboration
EU should increase collaboration with different organization such as the Red Cross and UNICEF, but also with private sector, United Nations and regional development aid. Close cooperation and coordinating will increase resources -> better crisis management & civil protection.

4. Assessment of help
Identifying and quantifying crisis significance beforehand is important, but at the same time it´s a huge challenge to decide who needs protection & aid the most.

5. Access/accessibility to trouble spots
More info on "Humanitarian Access"-section.

6. EU´s Humanitarian Principles
Humanitarian Principles are humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence, but these principles are not being obeyed sufficiently - approaching is too "assistant central".

Many crisis such as Myanmar Rohingya-, Algeria´s Sahrawi-, Venezuela´s socio-economic and security crisis etc. are called "forgotten crisis" because they are receiving insufficient help or not help at all. These are severe humanitarian crisis but there is no political commitment to solve them due to lack of media interest. In the future more and more crisis will be forgotten and it´s difficult to help people in trouble spots if "no one cares".

Here is link to ECHO´s Forgotten Crisis Assesment 2019 where you can see "all" the forgotten crisis : https://ec.europa.eu/echo/sites/echo-site/files/annex_4_fca_2019.pdf

Insecurity, government´s/extremist organization´s restricting acts and ongoing violence makes helping more difficult. Humanitarian workers are afraid to go to trouble spots and for example in Syria over 1000 humanitarian workers has been killed. High access constraints countries are for instance Syria, Eritrea, Palestine & Ukraine.

Map points out global access ranking, from full access to high access constraints.

Source: https://www.acaps.org/sites/acaps/files/key-documents/files/acaps_humanitarian_access_overview_world_humanitarian_day_2017.pdf

In the future climate change will increase climate refugees and conflicts all around the world. Climate change reduce water- and food security, sea level rises and extreme weather conditions increases, which will all increase conflicts especially in trouble spots. Climate change affects especially in areas where people are living in poor conditions and they have no means to survive with out help - it forces people to move out from their homes. EU´s resources are already overused so ...

Here is link to short video about climate refugees: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6QEDbI5zrg
