Oh Henry! is a candy bar containing peanuts, caramel, and fudge coated in chocolate, introduced in 1920 by the Williamson Candy Company of Chicago, Illinois. Legend has it that the name came from a boy named Henry who was a favorite of the young girls working at the candy shop, who would say “Oh Henry!” when asking for his help. The candy bar quickly became highly popular, becoming a national catchword by 1924, and was one of Chicago’s first iconic chocolate/peanut/caramel bars, predating others like Baby Ruth and Snickers.

The most defining features in the dresses included the shorter hemline, the dropped waist, and a more boyish silhouette. The dress opened to a new beginning of defying the conservative views of the time.
