The benefits to disseminating information through a podcast is that students can access through their phone anywhere and anytime - and students always have their device with them. This means they are more likely to complete listening to the assignment than sitting in front of a computer. Also, they will be improve their imagination skills because they will be creating visual imagery of the topic that is being delivered. So, students are using technology and devices that they are familiar with (and love!) to engage in your classroom material! Finally, it is a great collaboration tool as students can record what they have learned to share with other students or the world!
