It’s the time where all MTL teachers come together to share ideas and disseminate information with regards to MT subject.

When is MTTT ineffective or inefficent:

1) During assessment period where teachers are busy with reviewing and marking and we have to gather for MTTTT.

2) PLT tends to overlap with PWT, and sharings are quite rushed.

Suggestions to improve MT TTT:

1) Within department sharing, sharing of lesson plannings, SOWs and resources.

2) Pedagogical or ICT sharings.

Too much time spent on dissemination information.

MT TTT used for dissemination of important information for teachers , especially when need to gather feedbacks from teachers (even though exchange of info are often done via whatsapp)

MT TTT to support learning:

1) Teachers can be grouped according to their teaching levels (eg upper and lower pri) to share teaching strategies that worked well in their classes. Teachers could apply these strategies shared in T&L.

We hope to have more time to settle level admin, worksheets
we hope that we can have more whitespace during peak period eg: the exam period and start of the term.
check in activity can be a bit stressful
sharing of ICT learning tools that can be effectively applied during lesson.
we hope to have more time for teachers (in level) to share their teaching strategies and revise and improve old worksheets补充练习 to better align with current teaching objective and student needs.
