Answer
         In my opinion, the most important theme in this novel is blind obedience. The reason that this is the most important theme is because the whole book everybody is oblivious to what is outside their community, or even that there is anything outside of their community. Also they never question what "Good Guys and Bad Guys"  came from or where people go when they get released. 
       For example, in chapter 17 they are playing "Good Guys and Bad Guys" where you run around with finger guns and pretend to get shot and laugh it off, but for Jonas it's different. What happened to Jonas? You may ask, and the reason it is different from Asher and Fiona is because he remembers the blond haired kid who was dying, but when he told everybody how this is a very wrong game to play, they just thought Jonas ruined the game and didn't question what Jonas said.
        Another Example is with the whole releasing thing, which also ties into my other example. When somebody gets released, they don't wonder where they go, or since the people think that they go to other communities, why don't any people go to their community.
