WHAT STUDENTS NEED TO DO:

1.  Students will go to maps.google.com and enter the name of the city, state and country if not born in the US.  
2.  Once the city comes up, click SHARE.
3. Click Short URL.
4.  Once the URL (web address) has been shortened and turned blue, right click on the blue address and click COPY. 
5.  Open PADLET using the link found in your email account.
6.  Create a padlet note on the map background and type your name, the city, state and country you were born in and paste the link you copied from Google Maps into your note so the rest of us can see where you were born.
7. Place a small picture from your home town in your Padlet post.
