         <title>The Voice 2018 Super Bowl Ad </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This past Sunday, I wasn't too invested on the Super Bowl as I have been in the past, however, I did manage to run into an interesting commercial during all of the madness. The Voice delivered a song-filled advertisement for their upcoming fourteenth season. Motorcycles, singing choirs and a baby calf was enough to make my head tilt and ponder what was going. Subsequently, I realized the show could get away with it because The Voice is the leading singing competition show on television right now. The series has branched out to different countries and paved the way for spin-offs such as The Voice UK and The Voice Kids. Over the years, The Voice ads have produced positions based on product class. With the help of their fun and distinctive seasonal promos, the series has preserved its "voice only" judging concept and kept its unique and original brand apart from its competitive singing shows. Some shows were able to survive a couple of seasons such as The X Factor (U.S.) and The Glee Project, however, all competitive singing shows fell to their demise as The Voice reigned supreme. This year, The Voice's positioning shifted to a cultural symbol. Now more than ever, the country as a whole is feeling divided. The commercial evoked a sense of integration with its lyrics "coming together 'cuz we're really all just one voice". Since the show emphasizes on individuality and inclusion, the ad conveyed a unifying and patriotic message. With its strong competitive advantage, The Voice  successfully achieved the cultural symbol position. </div>]]></description>
