The only trouble was, we didn't have anything to put it together with.

Luckily my boyfriend and I are keen mountain climbers. Of course, the mountains were off limits... but at least our ice axes got a bit of extra use as the season came to an end! (With apologies for the rather impolite gesture you see at the end of this film).

Sitting on our balcony, with or without our umbrella, counting down the days until Lockdown #1 would end - these were moments that made the tedious days more bearable. 

It fills me with hope to know that we've managed to use the ice axe for its proper purpose (i.e. stomping through a snowy mountain) once this year already. We might be locking down again - but things will get better, and in the meantime, we'll make the best of it.
