This picture shows the next step in the water cycle by through precipitation. This is because after the clouds are formed and become heavy with all of the water droplets. The water then falls in different forms depending on the season. Precipitation can come in the form of rain, snow, sleet or ice.

Collection is the next stage in the water cycle. This is important because as the water droplets come down from the sky they then have to come together to allow for them to be evaporated. Collection can be seen in any body of water from an ocean, sea, river, lake or small puddle.

Transportation is the process where the water molecules are heated up from some energy source like the sun. This then causes the water droplets to turn into water vapor. As they become water vapor it travels back up into the sky to create clouds.
