Summary: What these pages mostly revolved around would be the factors of sex, desire, removing all pleasures from sexual acts and Winston's ex spouse Katherine. Winston writes in his diary about his encounter with a prostitute prole, which proceeds in to him talking about his marriage with Katherine and how she wasn't so fond of sex. Which resulted in them splitting soon after they discovered they could not have children.
Reveals about the party : Charge with a misdeed because of the physical attraction and sex for pleasure.
Winston feels : He hates on the unthinking brainwashed followers of the party such as his ex wife, because of the way she would show and pay her respects for the party "Duty to the Party." He also just wants someone to love.
Winston worries: Painfully conscious of the risk he had taken going to the place where he was at with the prostitute .
Winston yearns : he wanted more even than to be loved, was to break down that wall of virtue, even if it were once in his whole life.
-Yannet Martinez

Summary: Winston read a children book describing capitalism. He can't tell how much of the passage is a lie. He guess that life here was better before the Revolution. He describes how the Party promotes higher standard living and that people are happier because of them. He recalls the old memories of the three survivors Jones, Aaronson, Rutherford; they were former leaders of the Revolution who had been exposed as traitors. They were arrested, tortured, released, then eventually got vaporized.
Reveals about the party: The P.arty constantly making the people believe in what they say. Once the Party has captured you, you can't run away from them. You'll end up dead.
Winston feels/worries: He is perplexed on how the Party continues to have absolute control over reality and people's mind.
-Jennifer Nguyen
