They represented photos, paintings from the monument.We compared the monument ,with the clock of Poros, that is opposite of Galatas. We find the similarities and the differences between the two monuments.

Finally, we find by using Googlemaps, Xanthi and we try to find different ways to go from Galatas to Xanthi.

Στην ναυμαχία του Σαλαμίνας, οι Αιγινήτες Σαλαμινομάχοι διακρίθηκαν για το θάρρος αλλά και για τη ναυτική ισχύ τους. Λέγεται ότι βρίσκονταν σε τόσο κομβική θέση που δεν είχαν σκοπό να αφήσουν κανένα περσικό πλοίο να διαφύγει.

Οι τάφοι αυτοί λαξεύτηκαν στα βράχια της βόρειας ακτής και κατά τέτοιο τρόπο ώστε η θέση της κεφαλής να είναι πιο ψηλά από το σώμα και να ατενίζει το πεδίο της ναυμαχίας. Είναι ένα μοναδικό μέρος καθώς δεν υπάρχουν άλλα νεκροταφεία που να είναι δίπλα στην ακτή ή να βρισκονται οι τάφοι προσανατολισμένοι προς τον χώρο διεξαγωγής κάποια μάχης.

The Tophane Clock Toweris a clock tower in Bursa, Turkey and it is built inside

Tophane Park, a place which can be seen from every place in Bursa. It was built

during the governorship of Governor Mumtaz Reshid Pasha, and inaugurated in 1905

in a ceremony held in commemoration of the 29 th anniversary of the accession to the

throne of Sultan Abdulhamid II.

The construction of the current tower began on 2 August 1904 and was finished on

31 August 1905. The tower has six floors, it is 33m in height and it is used as both a

fire and a clock tower. There was a different clock tower in the place of the current

one, which was destroyed in an unknown date.

Next to the clock tower, there are four guns used in order to “tell” the Bursa

inhabitants the hour of sunset for breaking the fast during the month of Ramadan.

Αυτή την εβδομάδα οι μαθητές μας βρήκαν και κατέγραψαν όσες περισσότερες πληροφορίες μπορούσαν για τον πύργο του ρολογιού Τοπ Χανέ.

Ο πύργος του ρολογιού του Τοπ Χανέ, είναι ένα ρολόι πόλης, στην Μπούρσα της Τουρκίας και είναι χτισμένο στο πάρκο του Τοπ Χανέ, ένα μέρος περίοπτο στην Μπούρσα. Χτιστηκε επί κυβέρνησης του κυβερνήτη Μουμτάχ Ρεσίντ Πασσά και εγκαινιάστηκε το 1905, σε τελετή που έγινε στην μνήμη της 29ης επαιτίου για την διαδοχή του Σουλτάνου Αμπτουλαμίντ του 2ου, στο θρόνο.

Η κατασκευή του σημερινού πύργου άρχισε στις 2 Αυγούστου του 1904 και ολοκληρώθηκε στις 31 Αυγούστου του 1905. Ο πύργος έχει έξι ορόφους, 33μ ύψος και χρησιμοποιείται και σαν πυροσβεστικός πύργος και για το ρολόι. Υπήρχε άλλος πύργος ρολογιού στην θέση του σημερινού, που καταστράφηκε σε άγνωστη στιγμή.

Δίπλα στον πύργο του ρολογιού, είναι τοποθετημένα τέσσερα όπλα, που χρησιμοποιούνταν σε σειρά, για να σημάνουν στους κατοίκους της Μπούρσα την ώρα του ηλιοβασιλέματος, κατά την οποία διακόπτεται η νηστεία κατά τον μήνα του Ραμαζανιού.

Karagoz & Hacivat is a Turkish shadow play, named after its main characters Karagöz and Hacivat. . Karagoz represents the common man on the street and is straightforward and reliable. He is almost illiterate and usually unemployed. He often starts money making businesses that never work and is kind of rude. Hacivat's friend is the opposite of him, he is very intelligent, educated at a theological school and uses poetic and literary language.

According to one legend, the two main engravers, Karagoz and Hachivat, were real people and worked as builders in a mosque in Bursa. Although their satirical jokes amused the other workers, they distracted the other workers, slowing down construction, and the Sultan at the time ordered their execution. Legend has it that the sultan was so pleased by the performance that he appointed the puppeteer as his Grand Vizier and punished the corrupt officials who had inspired the puppeteer's story.

Τα παιδιά των τάξεων 3 και 8 του 6ου Νηπιαγωγείου Ξάνθης αναζήτησαν πληροφορίες για το μνημείο του Karagioz και του Haciavat στην Προύσα/Τουρκία με την οικογένειά τους, έφεραν βιβλία και εικόνες και τα παρουσίασαν στην τάξη, παρακολούθησαν μια σκιά στο διαδίκτυο. δούλεψαν σε ομάδες και έφτιαξαν τις φιγούρες του Καραγκιόζη και του Χατζηαβάτη και στη συνέχεια έπαιξαν θέατρο σκιών μαζί τους στην τάξη.

Το Karagoz & Hacivat είναι ένα τουρκικό έργο σκιών,  που πήρε το όνομά του από τους κύριους  χαρακτήρες  του Karagöz και Hacivat. . Με τον καιρό, οι περιπέτειες του Καραγκόζη και του Χατζηαβάτη απέκτησαν νέα διάσταση και γεννήθηκε το παραδοσιακό τουρκικό κουκλοθέατρο σκιών.
