         <description><![CDATA[<div>I made the basic mold terrarium, so I cannot answer questions #1 or #2. However I can answer #3! I think the strawberries decomposed fastest because they were the oldest food item. Also, I think the bread decomposed the slowest because it was stale, which means it had less water than the strawberries or the cheese. Mold needs water to survive!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.   I guessed that if I put my terrarium in a cold place, it would barely grow mold.<br>2.    My hypothesis was correct, because no mold grew at all!<br>3. I think the fact that no mold grew is because of the cold. I know, because I accidentally made a basic terrarium as well, and besides the cold, I put the same amount of water on them, and slices from the same fruits, so the only thing that could have caused no mold to grow is the cold, and I also know that mold grows better in warmth.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. I guess I thought that probably it would grow slower since my thing was 'no water' so it would grow slower. That's it.<br><br></div><div>2. So yes, my hypothesis was accurate. Since I didn't put water, they only had mold like 6 days in.<br><br>3. The bread decomposed the most after a long period of time (see the photo) and the nuts, along with the pretzels didn't really decompose at all, only a little. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. I thought the bread would be the first to be covered with mold<br>2. No my hypothesis was not accurate. In my terrarium, the blackberry was first and in the other terrarium it  was the strawberry covered first. I think mine grew slower because it was in a hot environment and bacteria collects on the coldest surfaces.</div>]]></description>

I think maybe it didn't grow as fast because of where I put it, (in the basement). I think this because normally we  keep the food upstairs (I took food from upstairs) so that might've caused it.</div>]]></description>

I thought that the mold would grow slower, because I put salt on it as my condition<br>2.  My hypothesis was incorrect the mold on my terrarium grew really fast, faster than the basic terrarium.<br>3. I have no idea what happened,  because I put salt on mine but it grew really fast! It may have been that the food in my terrarium was already, like 2 or 3 days old.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I thought that my mold would decompose the food turning it into dirt-like nutrients.<br><br>My food started to turn dead-black and cover my foods in 12 days.<br><br>And finally, I think that my mold grew faster because, I gave it sunlight from, time to time.          <description><![CDATA[<div>1. I  thought that it would grow slower because I did vinegar and I know that vinegar stops mold.<br>2. I was right the vinegar did slow down the mold I made a basic one too so that I could see them next to each other  compared to the basic one it grew a lot less. On the basic one the oranges even turned green there was not any mold on they outside it just changed to green.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. i thought it would grow faster.<br>2.no actually i did two, one with lemon juice and another with no condition. the one with the condition (lemon juice) did not have has much mold as the one with the condition.<br>3. i actually think that adding the lemon juice caused it to grow slower, think it was holding in the 'soggy-ness' and kept it 'alive-ish'.<br>On the cheese there was puffy-fuzzy mold.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I thought that fuzzy white mold would grow on the apple slice, however, it was mostly just black, spreading over the slice. I also thought that the sugar would make the moss grow slower.<br><br>My hypothesis was slightly correct, because mold didn't grow a lot, maybe because of the sugar?<br><br>I think the sugar might've acted as a protective layer for the mold, causing it to grow slower.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. I thought my mold terrarium was not going to grow mold because I forgot to dip it in water and because it was outside and it was cold.<br>2. My hypothesis was not accurate because almost everything did grow mold<br>3. I think it grew slower at the start because it was in the cold and you normally you put stuff in the fridge to stop it from molding but one day was warm and it started to grow a bunch.  I also think that the brie cheese was fast to grow mold because the rind of brie is actually mold to begin with.</div>]]></description>
