In Pakistan most citizens only go to school for 8 years . The men might stay in school longer than women because they believe women don't need an education.  Many women do not know how to read or write later in their life because they only went to school for 8 years.

Education is limited in Pakistan. The total amount of people who know literacy as an adult is 57.65%. 69.5% is the amount that males know literacy as an adult. Women on the other hand are way less with a number of 45.8%. Women are suppose to be at home moms so they are perceived as not needing an education

*When you are greeting someone it is inappropriate for a man to shake hands with a women. Unless the women is a close relative, only men are aloud to shake hands. Women are presented with a lot of limitations, because people  in Pakistan think more of men, than in women.

Agriculture  is the main economic activity and takes up 42.3% of the countries labor force, this is because they can't access some of the resources that they need so they have to grow/ make it themselves.

In the Pakistani culture women from more traditional families are required to wear a burqa which is a head-to-toe covering out in public. They are never allowed to show any skin and can never wear shorts, whereas men are allowed to wear shorts in casual settings and they do not have to wear the burqas. Therefore the women of Pakistan don't have the same freedoms as men and they are treated unfairly since they can't even wear whatever they want.

In the country of Pakistan there are many different languages that are spoken, however the official national language is English although they do have another national language called Urdu which unifies the nation. In Pakistan they run off a Federal Republican. The leader of the country is Prime Minister Imran Khan who has been in office since August 18, 2018. The chief of state is President Arif Alvi since September 9, 2018.

In Pakistan they have a Constitution and won independence. The Constitution was first made in April 12, 1973. The Constitution has been suspended and restored about 8 times. The last time it was touched was December 15, 2007. Pakistan won their independence from British India in August 14, 1947

*Non-Muslims often face discrimination. The religious beliefs in Pakistan are probably strict, and many people believe in a certain way of doing things. This is relevant because certain beliefs of a certain religion could lead to conflict, like the situation in the book I am Malala.

*96.4% of the population in Pakistan is Muslim. The beliefs that Muslims have to follow are a very big part of the culture of Pakistan.
