I am also happy with the equipment we are provided with when filming but I do have problems with some of the computers.
This course could be improved by ensuring all the computers we use have the required software and work efficiently enough for use to work effectively. I think having the iPads are really helpful because then when we are at the sofas we can take notes. thats quite helpful for my learning 

One way to improve could be to tell everyone their grades because we were told if we don't hear back then we passed. but it would be nice to track our progress to see if our grades are improving.

Projects that I enjoy are the ones where we get to do practical work for example when we get to go out and either interview the public or film. I think that going into the piers lounge isn't helpful due to some softwares that aren't accessible in there and also the fact that the computers are also very slow and screens are dark additionally, i think the room in general is not very motivating due to it being very dull and dark. I am writing to inform you of a very large concern of mine which isn't directly relevant to the course but does distract me while i'm in college. The point I would like to raise is that there is no safe place for students to park their cars; unless they are hit with a parking charge. I am bringing this up because I get distracted when thinking that my car is in danger being parked on the back roads where there are no security cameras, but if I want security cameras to be on my car I have to pay which I don't think is fair. For the safety of myself and fellow students I feel like not having a student car park and parking on the back roads poses a massive threat especially when I could be leaving college late meaning its dark on roads that aren't well lit in an area that i'm very unfamiliar with. Also when approaching or during final major project I may need to take equipment home and I wouldn't feel safe leaving it in my car because it may be broken into or I may be approach on the unlit roads where i'm alone. I'm not asking for a free car park i'm asking for a car park that is discounted where it may cost £1 for a days parking instead of the cheapest being £3.50 which leisure zone offers. So there are the reason as to why i believe the students of Harlow college deserve a free if not discounted rate as to where they can park their cars safely without the worry.
