         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Himalayas affect the Ganges river in a very positive way. The rainfall from the mountains can drain into the river feeding it and always keeping it flowing. That would also make the river fresh water so many people can use it to drink.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The population density map would look different if the Himalaya’s were not there for two separate reasons. Reason one being that it would be much more populated because people would be able to move and travel better. The Himalayas are so tall and wide that it is hard to trade, so number two is that trade would be more abundant and the people can trade more things.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
