Noticed need at NCS for intervention based on the relationship between SES and poor attendance, thus a higher need for RTI! Insubordination & disrespect are the top 2 infractions at NCS. This is backed by the article, "The Why Behind RTI." It is the responsibility of the teacher to question what he or she needs to do to help the student succeed in a general education setting. Don't always resort to "what is wrong with this kid?"
