The politicization of mental healthcare.</p><p><br/></p><p>Representation of mental health was reductive and was portrayed in outwardly measurable or visible characteristics--I think it was dangerous because it associates certain physical/ethnic traits with mental health disorders and criminalizes them.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p> Something I was intrigued by is that families bribe government officials to change the birth dates of young girls so they can marry. I think it is so interesting that so many young women are forced to marry because of financial reasons.  I also thought it was interesting that in the UNICEF photo when talking about the light on her face vs. the dark, there is such a small amount of light. Showing that arranged marriage overpowers the opportunity for education.</p></li></ol><ol start="2"><li><p>I want to know more about when this started and why. I know that Fariba states because of financial reasons and that roles are more appealing when they are younger, but I wonder if you date back to the first arranged marriage, if there was another reason, especially with young women and older men. </p></li><li><p>This was so good! Good job I learned a lot of information I did not already know</p></li></ol>]]></description>
