#1 The Economic, Political, and Social Conditions that Gave Rise to the French Revolution:

The economic conditions that gave rise to the French Revolution was the unfair tax system. Only the third estates which was made up of the bourgeoisie, the wage earners, and the peasants, had to pay taxes. The political conditions that gave rise to the French Revolution was corrupt leaders. King Louis XVI did not even know how to rule France and never cared about the problems of the third estate. They would always waste money on parties, feasts, clothing, etc. Lastly, the social conditions that gave rise to the French Revolution was the inequality among the estates because only the third estate, which made up most of the population, would have to pay taxes and the other two estates owned most of the land. This definitely gave rise to the French Revolution.

Some similarities between the two revolutions are that both had there own written declarations and constitutions and that they won their revolutions. Both revolutions were also influenced by the ideas of the Enlightenment. Furthermore, both in the American and French Revolution, they were heavily taxed. Some differences of the American and French Revolution were that in the American Revolution, they wanted independence from Great Britain and France wanted a new, fair government. Unlike America, France declared war on other countries.
