But for my independent reading journey I choose one particular story. The conflict started in Robbert´s childhood with dealing with abuse at such a young age and exposed to many things that children shouldn´t be exposed to at his age such as sexual assault being into foster homes again and again and more. As he got older things got worse he started making bad decision that led him to be a misunderstood killer. 4. Basically the narrator is explaining the treatment of Robbert in his childhood and the abuse he endured. 
5. I picked this quote because I thought it was important to show how he grew up and how it made him the person he is today.
