This course is one of my favourite course in this sem. The way Dr thought us this course was very engaging and was very effective for us to understand. Even though we studied half of the class via online I was still able to understand. I had a lot of fun by the activities in our face to face classes . As long as I study in this subject, there are many things to learn, but Dr uses various methods to attract students so that they do not feel bored and desperate to finish the syllabus. Among the rather interesting methods is Dr preparing some quizzes to interest me to continue to understand and remember about the learning on the previous topic. In addition, at the end of the topic, Dr also provided some past year questions that to some extent gave me an idea of what questions are commonly asked in the exam. Before that I think that this course will quite boring but I'm wrong. I'm quite surprised that I can pay attention in the class.

I really love one of the ways that dr used in class which is the reward mechanism. I'm quite excited and pay attention in the class in order to answer the question to get the reward.

Besides, Dr also add the past year question in the end of the slide. This gives me some idea of which type of the question will be commonly asked in the exam.

I hope that Dr can share some past year questions in the elearning and let us do the revision. Thank you very much Dr.

'MAIN GROUP ELEMENTS' is one of my favourite subject in this semester. I didn't expect it comes to the end so fast :(.

Thank you dr for teaching us so attentively and organizing many interesting activities in class. It was really exciting! Dr always uses straightforward, easy-to-understand language. Each quiz, test, and assignment includes a very clear instruction. The past year questions at the end of the slides make me more familiar with the questions that will be asked on the exam. First of all, learning this subject makes me worried because I am scared I won't be able to understand and remember these topics, After I revised these topics, I keep forgetting after a few days, that's what makes me worried, but I know I need to revise more and more until I understand and the way Dr. Sheela taught us by shown the short video to make us more understand by imagining the compounds that relate to our daily lives is something that fun and not bored at all. Dr. Sheela always put quizzes or Kahoot that I have been waiting for even though I rarely scored them but it make me quickly revise the previous topics and past year's questions that had were attached at the end of lecture slides really helpful to me to be familiar with that PYQ look like. At the beginning, I think that Dr is teaching a bit fast. But, after a few classes, I adapted to the speed of teaching.

I like the ways of Dr teaching. The explanation of Dr is clear and easy to understand. I also really appreciate the videos that Dr shared with us. It helps me to learn more. Besides, I like activities such as quizzes and asking questions during face to face class. This is because it can help me to revise the things that we have learned before. I can also know which parts I weaken in. Furthermore, the activities in the face to face classes are very interesting, especially “Trust me, I’m a chemist”.

Through this course, I have learned a lot about the world of elements.

The method that dr use helps me a lot in understanding. I really appreciate that dr share with us the lecture videos although our classes are ftf now. This is really helpful for me, because I can recheck all the information I jot down in classes and what I missed. The past year questions with the provided answers also helped me. First of all, I think that this course might be hard and I’m scared if I can’t understand this course for this semester. Surprisingly, at the end I manage to adapted with the situation and learned this subject until end of this semester.

I love the way Dr. Sheela taught us because the explanation is very clear and easy to understand. Since we have blended class which online and face to face class, I really appreciated the way Dr. Sheela make a short video to make us more understand the topic that related to our lives and this can help me to revise the things that we have learned past class. Besides, Dr. also provided us with the past year question for every topic at the end of the slide for each topic which will give me familiar with the question that commonly asked in final exam.

At the beginning, I feel scared for having a face to face class but, after a few classes, I adapted with Dr Sheela way to attract us especially for the first class we are playing bingo game.

The ways that Dr used in the class is very helpful to us like using Quizziz,Kahoot,provide recording video and many more. The ways Dr teach us also very helpful to me since I hard to catch this subject since school. But I will try my best in final exam. My first thought about this course is that it will be challenging to learn and understand because I think I will learn the periodic table. It will be fun, but at the same time, it is also challenging, and how could it learn only for one semester? After I asked the seniors, as they said we only learn from Group IA, IIA, IIIA, IVA, VA, VIA, VIIA and VIIA, I was relieved to hear that. And also said "senang je ni", but when I started learning this course, it had too much information and terms we had to know and remember. Maybe my senior want to make my heart calm.
Overall until now, I have had fun learning the Main Group Element subject as I get a very kind lecturer and understanding. Although I was initially shocked to hear the lecture a bit fast, I tried to learn and understand in the time that I had and I can adapt it. Maybe my result in quizzes and test did not make Dr happy, but I will try to do my best in the final exam.
Thanks for everything Dr for all that you have in this semester, and I hope we can meet Dr again soon in another course hehe

First of all hi dr, for me this course is all about getting to known the main group element that we already known in primary school. But in this course we get to know the detail about this each group element. such as how the element exist, how to prepare them, what it used and its this element harmful? we learn soo much more than that, so as the student i think i loved how you teach us and i hope my final question is not that hard :(. I used to hate chemistry when I was in secondary school because it was hard to understand. But everything changed when I entered matriculation program. Up until now I really enjoy learning chemistry especially for inorganic as we learn about the main group elements in the periodic table.

As you mentioned before, what in this world is not chemistry? Everything that we use and consume is made up with chemicals that are essentials and beneficial in our life. By the way, I think we share the same habit like always looking at the ingredients consisted in the product especially skincare. I hate the idea of some people that always claim the product they sell are chemicals free. A big turn off for me. Plus, this course is getting more fun when Dr came up with online and face to face games. Especially when you tend to give rewards to us when we answered the spontaneous questions.
I really appreciate your effort in motivating us to study harder for this course Dr.

Besides learning this course, I learned an important quality from you which is being punctual. "Masa itu emas" and we have to respect people's time.

Lastly, I might be slow in understanding our syllabus but I will try my best to excel for this course.

At first, I was afraid to study with dr because my first impression of dr was that dr was a fierce person and the topic in sem 2 was kind of difficult. but after almost 1 semester of studying with dr, my view of dr has changed, now I realize that dr is a supportive and cheerful person who makes the boredom that always bothers me disappear and the way dr teaches the subject of the course makes me feel so happy and made me aware of my shortcomings. First of all, this course is one of my favourite subject for the whole sem. At first, I was worried about this subject since I find it is long and not easy to remeber all of it.

However, the ways that Dr Sheela taught during classes were really easy to understand and it was really easy to communicate with Dr. about any topic that are not clear. Moreover, the kahoot and quizzes are really helpful to keep my interest and focus for the whole sem. All the assignmet were also fun and not stressful to finished it.

Hi Dr, Thank you for teaching us for this semester. I really like the way Dr teaches especially the quiz sessions and I have managed to get 2 pens from the quiz hehehe. The course was initially a bit challenging but with Dr’s help everything looked easy. The revision sheet resulting from the efforts of friends also helped me a lot at the last minute. There is no doubt that there are parts that I do not understand but with the help of Dr's recorded lecture I can overcome it.

First things that I want to say is what I expect on the first class is not the same when I go through this course. On the first class dr. asked what your expectation on this course and I said it may be easy because my senior said we can score in inorganic chemistry course but here I am, struggle with this course. But eventually with the help of dr and my friend, I hope I can score my final exam and I will work hard on it. What I can say about this course is it is fun learning this course with dr. because dr teach us very well.
