Luna Lovegood is my favorite book character because of her oddness. Luna is different than the other students but still insightful and very smart.

My favorite thing about her is her sense of style!

She has a different sense of style from most, and even though Hogwarts has uniforms she can stand out in a crowd. I enjoy reading about her uniqueness, not only in her outfit descriptions, but in her dialog and in the way she interacts with other students.

My favorite scene with Luna is the one where she is first introduced- and since the book has a movie adaptation, I've included it here. She is introduced as a character who knows the details that others don't but says them in a welcoming, sweet way to make Harry Potter feel included for being different. She often tries to help Harry and make him feel included because they both can be different at times.
