“How do we still reinforce nuclear ideals about “family” in children’s literature?" .....referring
specifically to your chosen 5 books

Certainly, these five books that I show in a padlet in the form of a summary, as well as pictures, reinforce the ideals of the nuclear family in children's literature. first and foremost, all five books depict the structure of the traditional nuclear family such as mother, father, and children living in the same house. secondly, the families in these books share a good bond. they show love, affection, and emotions toward each other. the families are portrayed as supportive of each other, and the children surely learn and develop good thinking through life lessons from their parents. In each of these books, families face trouble, problems, and challenges but they offer helping hands to each other and together they overcome these obstacles. The book presents that family is so important to live the life family. Overall, these books support nuclear ideals and emphasize the values of family namely love, care, and respect. These five books show children how the family is prominent so that they could respect and love their family.
