We went to the city and go shopping. We walked in little groups and went store for store. It was really beautiful to see the city. All the people there were really kind and helped us if we needed help to find something. At this church was our meeting point.

We were paired into 3 different Workshops: Jewerly making, Building a solar panel & planting trees. I went to jewerly making. There we used bottle caps to make key chains and decorated them. After that we went to the townhall and learned about the history of volos. Then we went to a other workshop downtown. There we used old pieces of clothing to make a portrait. It was a lot of work but also fun. Eventually we went eating at a restaurant and enjoyed the rest of the evening at the beach.

We visited the school from the Greece students again und Finished the workshop from Monday, after this we got like a interview and speak about Greece what we like and do some pictures for the TV in Greece.

Today we went on a bike tour around the coast of Volos. We saw a historical sight on the way and then continued our way along the coast. We drove to the end of the coast and some beautiful views of the mountains and the city.

We went to another school a greek gymnasium. It was really little because they are just like 90 students. At first some students present something about their school. We got some food and water. Then the teachers talked and we got to know a lot of the other students. It was really fun to meet them. At the end we planted some trees to present our friendship.

We started our second day by visiting the old Basilica ruins and getting to learn more about their history. It was really palpitant to hear all of the interesting information. After the visit to the ruins, we went to another high school and had the chance to meet other very friendly and welcoming students, that made sure we always felt welcomed an treated us as their own classmates. They have welcomed us with a presentation about the history of their city and with a few snacks, which I think was very nice of them. We have also got the chance to explore the school ourselves. After, we have visited the wine factory which was really interesting because we got to see how wine is made and packed into the bottles. To end the day, we have gone for a swim at the beach and also had dinner together. I enjoyed it a lot.

What did we do on MondayFirst of all, we all got to know each other at school and were divided into different workshops. I was in the jewelry workshop. There we made pendants out of bottle caps. Then we all took the bus to the town hall and were told the history of the town. At the end of the day we were in another workshop where we had to make something new out of old material.

We went to a historical place: The Basilica. Its a ancient church from the 5th century. Then we went to another school. We were kindly welcomed with a presentation of the school and were allowed to explore the school. Afterwards we went to a wine factory. We could see how wine were produced , the big tanks for wine and much more. Lastly we spend another evening at the beach swimming

We went to the city the first time and did some activities like we went tho a shop and weaving. They gave us some sweats from Greek and they were really delicious. I noticed that this is a work you need to be patient.

We went to the school where we finished our workshops. One group was working on the solar panels and the other group were listening to a presentation about the exological footprint. It was very interesting to know that the producing of food actually sometimes bad for the enviroment is. There was also a man who presentated his job and his invention. The most exciting part was when we had to talk about what we had done infront of the camera. I dindt talk but my classmate elene did. Then we went for a bycicle ride along the coastal line. It was so much fun. After that we ate at a restaurant, went shopping and thats how our day ended.

After the presentation from the gymnasium in Greece we went to a wine factory where all the wine is made. It was really interesting to see how it was made and just for fun some people were allowed to put the bottles on the assembly line

On Tuesday we visited the historic ruins of the Greek old town. We were able to learn how the Greek architecture was called the basilica. Basillica is an architectural style of a sacred building.

The most admiring activity which I liked the most was the bicycle tour. We as a Erasmus group went together with the headmaster of a greece school which guided our bike tour. Together with the Greece students and the Turkish students we went from street to street. He also tell us certain old historical aspects in detail which he explained very good as well. We had the opportunity to take brakes and enjoy the moment.

All in all it was very informative and fun!

The highlight of today was the bicycle tour. The principal of a greek school had tell us the coastline of Volos and its historical aspects. Together with the Greece and Turkish students we could observate the thousand-year-old houses of the Normads. The headmaster had tell us about its stories and how their livestyle was.

Hello my name is Berk, My most remarkable moment today was that we went to an bike trip with the Greek and Turkish students. First of all we rented bikes. We drove in Volos together and spent time. The headmaster of the greek school took us and showed us the entire harbour. He was really nice and friendly. We also enjoy the nice weather in Volos. The day was very entertaining and a lot of fun.

On Monday our Workshop of Erasmus has started. We visited the school of Volos and they welcomed us very friendly with some gifts. Later we were split into groups to work in different workshops like planting friendship trees or construct a plan of a solar system. Later, after we had break we could exchange our thoughts and build memberships.Well, for me personally: I have found new friends who I can imagine that the friendships will hold a life long. Later we have ate with the Turkish and the greek students dinner which they prepared from themselves and were laughing and joking.

On Monday, we met at school and split into workshops. I joined the tree planting workshop this was the most exciting time on monday. there I met Greek students and planted a tree together. Then we took a bus to the town hall to learn about the town's history. I learned that in 1225 BC. The Arguanuts where originally from volos and they where the very first sea expedition that explored the Mediterranean and the black sea. Finally, we had another workshop where we made new stuff from old scraps

We went back to school for workshops. Some of us worked on solar panels, others learned about the environment. It was surprising to find out how food production can hurt nature. We also heard about a man's job and invention, which was cool. The best part was when Elene talked on camera about what we did. Then, we enjoyed a bike ride by the coast, had dinner, and went shopping to end our day.

Hallo my name is Berk, my most remarkable moment today was that we went to the wine production together with the Greek and Turkish classes. When we arrived at the wine production a worker greeted us and first showed us the building. After he did this, he showed us the diffrent areas in the production of how wine is produced. Wine has diffrent steps to produce it, packaging and filling of wine. When we were finished they gave us a bottle of wine as a gift. It was very entertaining and cool to saw how wine was produced. That was my remarkable moment today.

Monday was our first day of the week. On the first day we went to the Greek school with our Turkish group. When we arrived at the Greek school, the first thing we did was met the Greek students. The most remarkable moment about the day was that various workshops took place there. There were various workshops such as planting trees, making jewels and building a solar panel. We were divided into different groups. I liked this task the most because we were able to get to know each other well with the students and our English improved. I really enjoyed this day. It was very entertaining and the hosts were very nice.

On our first day in Greece we visited the greek students highschool, where we got welcomed in the library and recieved giftbags from the students attending the school. Afterwards we got split into three groups to take part in a workshop. These workshops consisted of the upcycling of bottles for jewellery, crafting of solar panels and planting trees in the school garden. During that time we were able to meet and talk to the students and get to know them. By the time noon came around, we all gathered outside and took the bus to the city where we learned “wavering”. Wavering is basically the upcycling of old clothing straps. These straps can be attached to a string frame and formed into patterns and pictures thanks to the different fabric and colours of the clothing straps. Later on each class parted their way and went to the coast to find a nice location to eat lunch at. That evening we all met up at a cafe nearby. There we got to know each other more and partially get pretty close. In the end we all had a lot of fun, making the first day already memorable.

My favourite thing about the day was the church we saw. It was a old Orthodox Church. The person who drew the church spend they whole life for painting it. Also the church was build that no one could hear outside of it what’s inside. It was a special method with holes in the walls. The church was really pretty.

Ok Friday we needed to fly back. I was sad because I really liked a lot of people I met there. Some Greek students came to our hotel to say goodbye. That was really cute from them. When we waited for our bus to Thessaloniki the Greek teachers came and gave us our t shirts with the Erasmus logo on it. The time there was really beautiful

Today we were at a city called ,,Pillion,,. Its located at the top of a mountain and has many historical places like an old library. There you can find books from Arestoteles and old authors. Then we went to an old orthodox church. It was so beauteful and everthing was made of gold. Its special because a man painted the walls by himself. Then we ate at a restaurant and enjoyed our evening. Lastly we visited the turkish group at their hotel to make a project. It was about writing a story about 2 people saving the Environment. It was so much fun!

Sadly it was our last day. I was sad because i liked everyone and they were so welcoming. We got some T-shirts with our logo on it . But we had to go to the airport and fly back home. I wish I could visit them again! The city was very beauteful and i miss the beaches and the people.

Monday was generally very fun. We went to the school and did some projects which was very entertaining. We also got to know a lot of people, not only Erasmus people, but also kids from the entire school. Id like to say the kids were very nice and welcoming, I really didn’t expect it.
