When a man named Mr. Bing buys Arnie at the bakery Arnie is ecstatic but he is confused when Mr.Bing tries to eat him because he didn't know he was made to be eaten. Mr. Bing and Arnie have to compromise because Mr. Bing does not want to waste his money that he payed for buying Arnie. Arnie specifically did not want to be eaten and thought he had more of a purpose to his life and Mr. Bing helped him by making him his pet doughnut.
