We chose October to be the month to survive in the Kalahari Desert because the winter would make the temperatures more bearable and allow us to have cooler temperatures to conserve water.

We will bring a sheet of tent canvas and cut down trees which would gives us wood. We would make four posts standing up straight out of the wood and attach the tent and canvas with ropes and use the tent canvas as the roof.

We chose June to be our least favorite month due to the fact that Winter is the best month to be in the desert and the hot weather would make surviving in the desert harder.

Phacochoreus africanus
The warthog is a brown pig with curled horns and hair on its back. In order to cook we would either roast the whole hog over a fire or cut it into chops/ steaks and cook it in a pan. When eating the warthog it will give us 2.3 grams of fat and 132 calories per 100 grams.

Alcelaphus buselaphus
It is similar to a deer but has short curved horns at the top of his head. In order to cook the hartebeest we would make it into a steak and cook it in a pan. The hartebeest has 2.1 grams of fat and 130 calories per 100 grams.

Giraffa camelopardalis
The giraffe has a long neck, very light brown and has brown spots all over it's skin. We would cut the giraffe into giraffe chops and cook it in a pan. The giraffe has 2.2 grams of fat and 123 calories per 100 grams.

Scorpions are a danger since they are small and easy to miss however their sting can be quite painful and in some cases deadly.
