The first way I saw was that the small triangle and circle were two innocent people that were lost and looking for help. Than the big triangle beats them up for whatever reason, showing us that he is violent. The circle does nothing and tries to hide, but the big triangle finds them. The small triangle proceeds to save the circle and they run from the triangle, showing that the circle is a little cowardly and the triangle is heroic. Another way I took it was that there was a big triangle, protecting himself and his home from 2 stragglers. 2 random people (circle and small triangle) walk up to his seemingly secluded house, and the big triangle dosen't know their intentions. he proceeds to fight the big triangle for intruding and notices the small one gone, he goes to find the small one and sees that they entered the big triangle's home. The big triangle reacts by defending themselves from an intruder, but they both run, leaving the big triangle frustrated to the point where he destroys his own house. For example when the big triangle was pushing the little triangle around. We can also see the circle being hesitant to help as it kept going inside the box or whatever you might think it is and going in and out of it until the end where it help the little triangle get away from the big triangle which left the big triangle all by it's self and it destroyed the "box". Once the Big triangle saw the little triangle, it started to beat it up. At first the little triangle was trying to defend itself but still ended up getting beaten up. Meanwhile the circle wasn't sure if it should help their friends out or hid in the classroom so that it wouldn't get bullied. In the end, the circle helped the little triangle escape from the bull and ultimately ran away, the big triangle enraged destroyed their classroom. This story shoes the different roles that there are while someone is being bullies. For example, the big triangle is the bully, the little triangle is being bullied and the circle is a bystander who isn't sure what to do in the situation but ends up helping the circle who is being bullied. In stories, there are these characters to create the plot. In this video we see a triangle come out of a box, attack the smaller triangle, then the small circle steps in to help the smaller triangle, and we see the bigger triangle destroy the box. The reason I don't think there is a story is because it is not representing anything, unless you decide it is. To some people, this video is just a bunch of shapes moving around in odd ways, but then others might create detailed scenarios in which this could be seen as a bully and 2 victims of the bully or something similar. I think it really just depends on the viewer of this video to decide if they want to see it as a story, or just as shapes hitting each other. Some could make the argument that it is "represent something" or is "Symbolic of something" and why I don't fully disagree, I think the only reason you think like that is because that is how your mind works and how it has developed. It wants to believe and create a story where this is representing something. The small triangle tries to go in but is not allowed in and argues with the big triangle. The big triangle then starts attacking the smaller one. The circle saw what was happening and tried to take over the house so the smaller triangle could come in and lock the bigger triangle out. But the smaller triangle is hurt and ends up hiding away until the bigger one leaves and goes into the house. The circle is scared of the bigger triangle after seeing what happened and tries to stay away. The small triangle tries to get back into the house but is chased out again. But this time the circle goes to protect them. They both end up running away and leaving the bigger triangle furious that it couldn't attack them more. The big triangle sees this and disproves of a circle and a triangle being together. The triangle comes out the building and beats the little triangle as a lesson they cant hang out, the frightened little circle runs into the building only to be cornered by the big triangle. Then the little triangle opens the door to help the circle escape. They tried going into his "brain" or "head" as i imagine the house thing to be, and by doing that they're trying to understand him and see what hes going through. but the triangle gets angry at them, for doing that. After a while the circle and small triangle stopped trying to help the big triangle and left. The big triangle was mad because yes it did refuse help but didn't think they were going to leave. so it destroys its mental state even more. (the mental state being the "house.") the second instance i imagine it being is emotions, the big triangle is bad emotions like anger and sadness and the small circle and small triangle are good emotions, like happiness. the big triangle is scared to feel happiness, he hates himself so much he wont allow himself to feel good. (i'm using he/him pronouns right now but the triangle can be any gender really.) he feels as if when he gets happy the happiness will get taken away, or something bad will happen. so he simply never allows himself to feel happy. the circle going inside the big triangles "house" is the big triangle letting himself feel a small amount of happiness. he didn't want to feel too happy so he didn't let the small triangle in with the small circle. at the end it shows the small circle leaving with the small triangle, implying the small amount of happiness he left himself feel is now gone. knowing this, the big triangle destroys his mind out of anger because he realizes exactly what he thought would happen, happened. ]]> 2021-08-13 19:38:04 UTC https://padlet.com/afatima/l3nerjcwltvb6wvv/wish/1678570626 dp301311_1 https://padlet.com/afatima/l3nerjcwltvb6wvv/wish/1678571076 I believe the answer to the question depends on a person's imagination and how they choose to perceive the video. One might watch the video and see nothing more than meaningless shapes moving around on a screen, while another will see a fully-fledged story with a conflict and resolution. In the latter scenario, the shapes take on the roles of story characters. They have human-like interactions and personalities. They propel the story forward, create conflict between each other, and come to a conclusion. In this case, the large triangle serves as the antagonist, while the smaller shapes are protagonists. The large triangle creates conflict with the smaller shapes when it attacks the small triangle near the beginning of the video. What ensues afterwards is a typical "bad guy V.S good guy" chase-- the larger triangle tries to catch up to the smaller shapes, presumably to hurt them in some way, while they attempt to flee. The "story" ends with the smaller shapes successfully escaping from the antagonist and the large triangle destroying the rectangular-shaped area the story took place in.
