These methods help it go straight your brain. 
The ingredients crystal meth contains is acetone, anhydrous ammonia, ephedrine/Pseudoephedrine, Hydrochloic acid, lithium, red phosphorus, toluene, sodium, hydroxide or lye, and sulfuric acid.

The long term affects are damage to blood vessels of the heart and brain, depression, severe tooth decay. As well as convulsions that may lead to death. Crystal meth can be fatal since it causes your body temperature to rise which can lead you to passing out and not getting help right away you can die. Also heart attack or strokes are common.
