You have a free space to present your writing and you style as well as talk with nice people with similar interests. This was by far one of the best classes I have taken this year. This class pushed me to get back into writing. I was able to pour my heart out onto the pages and read them aloud without judgment. Chill - This class just doesn't stress you out. For me it just felt like I could talk about the things I wanted and chime in whenever I felt comfortable. 

Freedom - This class made me feel like I had some freedom in what to write in that it wasn't just some English class or forced writing. It made me feel like I was free to talk about feelings and emotions that aren't easy for me to show. 

Creative - This class gave me an opportunity to really put my creative skills to the test. The projects give me a lot of different material and ideas to work with, and I can draw on my own stories to make new content, which is extremely useful in times of writer's block.

Insightful
Writing and sharing my pieces gives a sense of understanding about my writing style and also the lives and thought processes of others. People might cry from sadness and laughter in a single class, and that's an incredible achievement for a class to reach.

Freeing
The range of different assignments has also opened up different ways for me to expand my writing. I used to write exclusively poetry and novels, but now I'm writing monologues, short stories, and a lot more.
People come out of their shells when they read their work aloud, even the quieter ones in the class.

Enjoyable
This might be a personal preference, but I love getting to use my creativity in new ways and share it with others. Getting genuine feedback and comments is, in my opinion, one of the most satisfying rewards a writer can get.

Welcoming

- This has been some of the most fun I've ever had in a single class. Nobody in class takes things too seriously and everybody does their own thing.

Lenience
- Mrs. Young is a phenomenal teacher who is very flexible with assignments and isn't too hard on anybody who makes a mistake.

Diversity
- I've met many different sorts of people who take this sort of class, from meathead jocks who live and breathe meaningless games (me), from shy nerds who show up to class with a new hair color every day. It's honestly really cool.

Creativity
- All doors are open when it comes to what you want to write. Want to make a dark piece about mature topics? Go ahead. Want to make a silly monologue with a bunch of funny wordplay. Do it. Want to make an absurd fan fiction of 2 unrelated characters? I guess it's for someone.

Friends
- I never expected to meet so many nice and amazing people here. As soon as I saw the class roster and observed all the people who were so different in dress choice, background, and pretty much everything, I thought I'd only have a few friends. I have yet to find someone who I would consider an 🤬, and I've talked to and enjoyed interacting with everybody in the class. I thought my humor taste would not mesh well with anybody, and that there would be a least one instance of someone being offended over something I said. Nobody has been offended, hurt, or even miffed at anything I've said.
