-SUNTEC made this dessert safari concept in order to be able to unique and have a selling point for people to book its convention hall and rooms. This will give it a competitive advantage over its competitors such as MBS and Expo. This will also benefit Singapore as a MICE destination as it will attract more people to hold conventions and exhibitions in Singapore.

-The catering service can be an extra service where SUNTEC Convention Centre can offer to its clients. SUNTEC will be able to charge a higher price for the service as it has a unique characteristic that cannot be found anywhere else. This will provide additional revenue for SUNTEC.

- SUNTEC is thinking of unique ideas in order to have something unique to showcase. Through having its dessert safari concept, it will be able to have the reputation of having the award winning concept that is awarded by STB. This will attract people to hold exhibitions in SUNTEC.

- SUNTEC Convention Centre had been officially opened in 1994. To keep itself up-to-date and having something to offer, SUNTEC have to come up with new ideas if not it will become outdated as a Convention Centre.

With its offer of the BTMICE Golden Jubilee deals, STB and SECB hopes to attract business travellers, in particular meeting planners to choose Singapore as the location for their meetings. However, these deals are not only limited to meeting packages. There are also deals concerning city tours and attractions such as Gardens by the Bay. This means that the STB/SECB conceived these deals with the intention of having business travellers extend their stay. With them staying for a longer time due to the attractive packages, this means that tourism spending will increase, and more tourism receipts will be generated. Thus, this will help with stimulating Singapore's economy and tourism industry.

Grand Hyatt Singapore. Taking up Grand Hyatt's meeting packages will allow meeting planners and meeting attendees to choose from meeting rooms, guestrooms and suites. This is attractive because it allows meeting planners and their guests to have free rein in choosing which room they would like to stay/ hold their meeting in. They are not restricted in their choice. Moreover, the meeting planners will also receive cost-saving benefits such as an 8% rebate off the master bill, making it a very attractive prospect. This rebate gives the Grand Hyatt package a competitive advantage because it is the only package that provides meeting planners with a rebate.

Another aspect that makes the package attractive is that there is complimentary wireless internet provided in the meeting rooms to facilitate convenience. Additionally, meeting planners can also earn bonus points under the Double Hyatt Gold Passport Planner rewards that can be used at all participating Hyatt hotels worldwide, and redeem rewards.
