The changes in climate have been affected some areas here in the U.S, there were many fire incidents that already happened due to the heat that we experienced. This relates to chapter because the book talked about “Disasters: Unexpected Change (Macionis 532), this means that unexpected changes can cause a disaster, an example is the climate change, it caused fires in some areas of U.S.

The recent riot that happened and became controversial was the migrants at the border of the United States and Mexico. This relates to the chapter because according to Macionis, "Sometimes crowds can turn violent, transforming into a mob, which is a highly emotional crowd that pursues a violent or destructive goal." (Macionis 529).

The picture represents the migrants trying to cross the border to get a better life in the United States.
