It's a job for life as long as you don't do anything stupid. One of the main positives that the army advertises a lot is the sense of belonging and the comradship with your fellow soldiers. Being in the army means you get free world class training that would normally cost thousands. During your time in the army, you can experience what it is like to work in different countries such as England, Germany, The Falklands etc. You get to travel the world and get to spend time doing adventure training.
