Each group will need to include a picture of the landform, a description of the shape of the form, and information about the types of forces (destructive/ constructive/ slow/ fast) that created the landform.

An archipelago is created by underwater volcanoes and it takes a while to happen. An archipelago is a slow change because it takes a long time for a bunch of islands to be created. An archipelago is a constructive change because when the underwater volcanoes erupt it forms an island. An archipelago could be a destructive change too, because of glacier melting. An archipelago is just an area with a lot of islands in it, close together. Hawaii is an archipelago. So far the Malay Archipelago is the biggest archipelago, with around 25,000 islands in it. This archipelago was actually formed by a glacial retreat/flooding. An archipelago can form in an ocean, but can form in a lake or river if there are tiny islands close together. Most archipelagos are oceanic islands. oceanic islands are islands that are formed by underwater volcanoes. A group of oceanic islands are called an island arch. Japan is an island arch. Not all archipelagos are made from volcanoes. Some archipelagos are formed when glaciers melted and overflowed valleys.
Sources: https://www.nationalgeographic.org/

A Penninsula is formed by rising or falling sea levels that can expose or cover parts of land. A rise or fall of landmass can help form a penninsula. A Penninsula is slow and destructive because a penninsula is most likely formed by waves that crash on the rocks and that forms the U shape. So in conclushion a penninsula takes a slow time to form and is destructive. One special feature a penninsula has is a penninsula is connected to the mainland on one side.http://worldlandforms.com/landforms/peninsula/#:~:text=How%20are%20Peninsulas%20Formed%3F,years%20can%20create%20a%20penisula.

A dune is a mound of sand formed by the wind, usually along the beach or in a desert. Dunes form when wind blows sand into a sheltered area behind an obstacle. A dunes windward side is the side where the wind is blowing and pushing material up. The forces that make dunes are...
Wind – sand transported by the wind creates sand dunes.
Water – bits of soil and rock can be carried downstream and deposited causing deltas.
The process of making a dune can happen in less than a month if conditions are right. The mineral that is binding the sand could have precipitated last month, 100 years ago, 1000 years ago, or 10,000 years ago, and that is what determines the age of the rock. Sand dunes are a constructive force.
Generally speaking, there are five main types of sand dunes:

transverse

linear/longitudinal

star

barchan/crescentic

parabolic/blowout.

Their are other ones, as shown in the photo.

Sources:https://www.nationalgeographic.org/encyclopedia/dune/

Deltas by Lennix Selleslach

Deltas are usually triangular-shaped layers of rock. Some are all wonky on the edges but they are all kind of triangular. They are built constructively and usually take about 5,000 years to form. (That's a LONG time!) The way deltas are formed is by rivers carrying sediment and then dropping it. Over time, layers of rock are formed into deltas. They are usually near the mouth of large rivers.

Cite:
https://www.nps.gov/articles/delta-landforms.htm
http://www.onegeology.org/extra/kids/earthprocesses/deltas.html
https://www.nationalgeographic.org/encyclopedia/delta/
