I will be producing a digital sketchbook and final 1/2 scale garment. This project is a collaberation with performing art, of which my research, designs, samples and final garment will be photographed and displayed in a showcase on Wednesday 25th September 2024. I will use the theme mama mia to influence my digital sketchbook, while also documenting skill building exercises and samples in a skills building practical folder which will support my digital sketchbook.

I instantly notice a colour theme of blue, yellow and pink. I think these colours represent mamma mia and the country Greece where mamma mia is set. The blue and yellow remind me of beautiful beach scenes. I realy like the bright pink as I feel it is very contrasting. My Pinterest represents both mamma mia and greece while also looking at clothing which would be worn for a beach/beach wedding, to fit the brief. I realy like the blue and white printed tiles which decorate the city of Greece. I would like to try printing some of my own stencils onto fabric for this project. I think sublimation fabric ink would work well, with a floral stencil design.
