         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Read aloud of Tolstoy's story about Martin the cobbler.&nbsp;<br>1. Discussion about the theory of presupposition beforehand. Where do they notice times that we jump to conclusions? How can we give benefit of the doubt?<br>2. Read aloud.<br>3. Stop after the story mentions how the man had Jesus to dinner. How would the children react if they had Jesus over for dinner? (Allow time for answers, what are themes -- pulling out all the stops, etc, best behavior, kindness)<br>4. Keep reading.<br>5. At end of story, ask where students saw examples of presupposition in the story.  How  does this story help us learn to see God in everyone? How can presupposition help us to treat every person recognizing that God is in them?</div>]]></description>
