    We drove about thirty kilometres from the capital, Manama – where we live – to the Sakhir desert. There , we sat up our camp. At first, it was difficult to put up the tents, but we finally managed to do it. After that , we had a light lunch, and then relaxed until dinner.

     After dinner, we sat outside in the bight moonlight, and talked about many different things. In the end, we started to talk about scary things that had happened to us. One of many friends was in the middle of telling us a very scary story when suddenly we saw something moving in the distance. We couldn't see clearly what it was – but it was coming slowly towards us! We were really frightened ! what should we do next? We thought.

 Finally, We sat there , confused and scared who or what could be moving around in the dark? We couldn't move, and nobody spoke. Soon, we could see it better, and we all know what it was – a lost desert goat! Later , we all laughed a lot about that.

Last October, my family and I decided to go camping in the desert. Perhaps I should explain that most of my country is desert, with only a few wild goats as residents—and it's usually too hot for camping in the summer.
